Designs for a self initiated project to create the branding for a poster exhibition surrounding the subject of nuclear weapons. The concept required the production of a series of posters that would appear within the exhibition itself, but also consider the branding and advertising for the exhibition too. I also produced a packaging element that could be used as a promotional piece, or as a take home item from the exhibition.
Developed with inspiration from the El Lissitzky poster ‘Beat the whites with the red wedge’ and a combination of The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists ‘Doomsday Clock’ and the UK nuclear 4 minute warning system from the cold war period. Details showing the icons various flexibility of usage and scalability.
